Mysore/Mysuru: The Bharatanayam Rangapravesha of H.R. Leela, a disciple of Guru Dr. Padmashri, has been organised at Kalamandira in city on Jan. 11 at 5.30 pm, under the aegis of Kalanidhi School of Dance, Mysuru.

She will be accompanied by Guru Dr. Padmashri, Mysuru, on natuvanga, Vid. Nandakumar Unnikrishnan, Bengaluru, on vocal, Vid. Karthik Vaidhathri, Bengaluru, on mridanga, Vid. Mahesh Swamy, Bengaluru, on flute, Vid. Anantha Narayanan, Chennai, on veena and Vid. Mithun Shakthi, Bengaluru, on rhythm pad.

Karnataka Kalashree Guru Pushpa Krishnamurthy, Director, Pushpa Performing Arts, Shivamogga; Badari Divya Bhushan and Dr. Anjana Bhushan, Artistic Directors, Bhushans’ Academy of Performing Arts and Visual Presentation, Mysuru & Bengaluru and Dr. B.V. Nandeesh, Assistant Director, Kannada and Culture Department, Mandya, will be the guests of honour.

H.R. Leela, daughter of V.K. Jyothi and T. Ramachandra of Honakere in Mandya district, is married to K. Ajith Kumar of Chinya village, Mandya.
