Bharatanatyam Rangapravesha of Vidu. Nayanashree tomorrow

Mysore/Mysuru: Bharatanatyam Rangapravesha of Vidu. Nayanashree (daughter of Lalithamba and B.S. Shantharaju), disciple of Guru Vidu. Nagashree Phaneendrakumar, will be held at Ganabharathi’s Ramagovinda Kalavedike in Kuvempunagar tomorrow (Dec. 4) at 6 pm, under the aegis of Shree Nataraja Performing Arts Centre, Mysuru.

The event will be inaugurated by V.N. Mallikarjunaswamy, Joint Director, Kannada & Cultural Department, Mysuru.

Guru Vidu. Dr. Kripa Phadke, Director, Nrityagiri and Prof. K. Ramamurthy Rao, Director, Noopura Kalavidaru Samskrutika Trust, will be the chief guests. Balaraju, President, Shree Nataraja Performing Arts Centre, will preside.

A special Guruvandana will be offered to Guru Vidu. Nagashree Phaneendrakumar, Director, Shree Nataraja Performing Arts Centre.

The musical ensemble will feature Vidu. Nagashree Phaneendrakumar (natuvanga), Vid. Deepu Karunakaran (vocal), Vid. G.S. Nagaraj (mridanga) and Vid. A.P. Krishna Prasad (flute).
