Mysuru: Nruthyathi Kalaashale, Mysuru, will be presenting Bharatanatyam Ranga- vidhipraveshika of Nithyashree, disciple of Guru Anusha Varun, at RamaGovinda Rangamandira in Ramakrishnanagar here on July 25 at 4.30 pm.

This auspicious milestone celebrates the culmination of over fifteen years of dedicated training in Bharatanatyam, nurtured through discipline, devotion and an unwavering commitment to the classical art form.

Born to Ushaveni and Purushothama, Nithyashree began her artistic journey at a young age under the guidance of Guru Anusha Varun, Founder-Director of Nruthyathi Kalaashale.

A first class holder in Vidwat final examination (2023) under Karnataka School Examination & Assessment Board (KSEAB) and a Doordarshan B-Grade artiste, she has performed at prestigious festivals including Natyanjali, Chidambaram, Mysuru Dasara Mahotsava, and Ritu Vilasa Nrutyotsava.

An Electrical and Electronics Engineering graduate from Vidyavardhaka College of Engineering, Mysuru, Nithyashree is currently working as a Design Engineer in a MedTech company while pursuing Bharatanatyam with unwavering passion. Her achievements in academics, sports, NCC and cultural activities reflect her dedication and all-round excellence.

The programme will commence with Guru Parampara Vandana, offered to Karnataka Kalathilaka & SNA Awardee Dr. Vasundhara Doraswamy, Gayana Gandharva Dr. R.S. Nandakumar, Natyacharya Vid. R. Kannan, Eminent Bharatanatyam artiste & Guru Sandesh Bhargav and Guru Anusha Varun.

Dr. Kripa Phadke, Founder-Director, Nrityagiri Academy of Performing Arts & Research Centre and Dr. B. Sadashive Gowda, Principal, Vidyavardhaka College of Engineering will be the guests of honour.
