Bharath Hospital celebrates 30th anniversary

Mysuru/Mysore: Bharath Hospital and Institute of Oncology, the leading Super Speciality Cancer Care Centre in city, celebrated its 30th anniversary at a function organised in city recently.

Since its launch in1989, Bharath Hospital and Institute of Oncology has established itself as a renowned cancer care centre. The hospital expertise is in Radiation Oncology, Surgical Oncology, Medical Oncology, Imaging Services and Clinical Laboratory services. 

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. B.S. Ajaikumar, Chairman of Bharath Hospital, said: “A high quality cancer care hospital was launched in Mysuru 30 years ago and since then, the hospital has served more than 60,000 patients. Today, the hospital is a landmark for affordable cancer treatment in and around Mysuru. The hospital is a registered Non-Profit Company, and the treatment is provided at a very nominal cost.” 

He further added, “With so many advances taking place in cancer care and people living longer, we definitely intend to grow further and bring new technology, new treatment methods irrespective of socio-economic status.”

Suttur Seer Sri Srivarathri Deshikendra Swamiji and Bishop of Mysore Rt. Rev. Dr. K.A. William were the chief guests.

Mayor Tasneem and eminent theatre personality Zafer Mohiuddin were the guests of honour during the programme.
