Bharath Tennis Express National Series U-14 Tournament: Yashas Urs enters pre-quarters

Local lad Yashas M. Urs, playing an attacking game on both the flanks, scored an upset win over eleventh seeded Vivaan Gupta of Karnataka 6-3, 7-6 (6) and entered the pre-quarter-finals in the U-14 Boys Singles event in the AITA Bharath Tennis Express National Series Tennis Tournament played at the MTC Courts here yesterday.

Unseeded Tarun Korwar (Tel) scored an upset win over eight seeded Arnav Vijay of Maharashtra 6-2, 6-3, while Manav Hariraj scored a good win over fourteenth seed Namish Sharma of Uttar Pradesh 6-3, 6-2 to enter the pre-quarterfinals.
