Scholarships distributed to students

 Mysuru: Bhavasar Kshatriya Mandali had organised a function at Panduranga Vittalaswamy Temple premises on Kabir Road here recently to distribute scholarships to students  of the community studying from 7th standard to Degree classes.  Over Rs. 4 lakh scholarship amount was distributed to about 450 students.

The occasion also marked the felicitation of ‘Samaja Bhushana’ award winners Narayana Rao Thelkar, Vittal Rao Lalige and Shanker Rao Anchalkar and ‘Jeevana Gourav’ award winners Chaitanya Kumar Hiraskar, K.G. Venkatesh Rao Kuthnikar, K.P. Kumar Kuthnikar, Ramesh Nazare, Ashok Nazare, Jaikumar Lalige, Kusum Uttarkar, Manjunath Pathanthe and Nagaraj Bagare, who had received the awards at the Akhila Bharata Bhavasar Kshatriya Mahasabha National Convention held recently in Hyderabad. Mandali President Jayaram Rao Lalige presided over the programme.
