Bike charred in accidental fire

Mysuru:  An incident of a bike being charred in an accidental fire, has been reported near old RMC in Bamboo Bazaar here yesterday night.

It is reported that a man, who was riding a bike near Bamboo Bazaar noticed fire in the bike and immediately stopped the vehicle. Though he tried to douse the fire, he failed in his attempts and informed the Fire Brigade Station.

Bannimantap Fire Station personnel, who rushed to the spot, doused the fire. But the bike was charred by then. Police said that the rider had fled from the spot leaving the bike. Mandi Police, who have registered a case in this regard, are investigating.
