Bike-lifter nabbed: Two motorcycles, four mobile phones recovered

Mysuru: Mandi Police have arrested a person, who was allegedly involved in bike and mobile phone thefts, yesterday. The accused has been identified as Tanvir Khan, 21, a resident of A.J. Block, N.R. Mohalla.

In a press release, the Police said that acting on a tip-off they picked up Tanvir Khan, who was moving suspiciously on a motorcycle, near Ahmadiya School in Mandi Mohalla and during interrogation he had confessed to have been involved in bike-lifting and mobile thefts.

Mandi Police, who have registered a case, have recovered a Honda Dio Scooter lifted in KR Police Station limits and a KTM Duke Motorcycle lifted in Kushalnagar Police limits, both worth Rs. 1.36 lakh, and four mobile phones lifted in various Police Station limits in the city.
