Bike rider killed in accident

Mysuru: A bike rider was killed on the spot in an accident on Bengaluru-Mysuru Road when the motorcycle (KA-55-J-6776) he was riding hit an electric pole late last night. The deceased has been identified as Tenzin Khentse (26), native of Byloor Camp in Kollegal and a resident of Bannimantap in Mysuru.

The Police said that Tenzin, who was riding the bike rashly, hit an electric pole as he failed to notice the road hump and died instantly. The road hump catapulted the speeding vehicle and the impact was such that Tenzin’s body was found lying 100 metres beyond the accident spot.

N.R.Police arrived at the spot and shifted the body to MMC and RI Mortuary for post mortem. A case has been registered.
