Mysuru: A bike rider was killed on the spot when he met with a self accident on Valmiki Road late last night.

The deceased has been identified as Kiran (24) of  N.R. Mohalla.

Kiran was riding a Bajaj Discover motorcycle on Valmiki Road, when he lost control while negotiating a road hump near Rama Mandir and fell down with his head hitting a stone kerb.

Kiran, who sustained serious injuries, died on the spot, it  is learnt.

V.V. Puram Traffic Police have registered a case in this regard.
