November 20, 2023

The Rotary Mysore JeevaRaksha 6th Annual Bikeathon on Riding Safety was organised by Rotary Mysore, Rotaract Mysore, SVYM & JeevaRaksha on Nov. 18 and 19.

The bikeathon had flash mobs, street plays, first-aid and CPR demos with Vivekananda Memorial Hospital and St. Joseph’s Nursing students, all the way from Mysuru to Chitradurga and back joining simultaneous bikeathons starting from Bengaluru.

Flag-off was at Kote Anjaneyaswamy Temple, North Gate of Mysore Palace, by Smitha Manjesh, to commemorate the memory of Rtn. Manjesh Kumar, one of the originators of the bikeathon.

More than 60 bikers, including Rotarians, Rotaractors, JeevaRaksha personnel and youth, participated in the event.
