Biker killed in road accident

Hunsur: A two-wheeler rider was killed on the spot while another sustained serious injuries when a Tata Ace goods vehicle rammed into the bike they were riding near Bolikere village in the taluk yesterday afternoon.

While deceased has been identified as Suhaib, son of Ziaulla, Proprietor of Zia Chicken Centre and a resident of the town, the seriously injured is Junaib,   son of Hidayathulla.

Junaib has been admitted to a private hospital in Mysuru.

Yesterday afternoon, Suhaib was on his way towards K.R. Nagar on his new bike and when he was proceeding near Bolikere village, a Tata Ace vehicle, which came from the opposite direction, rammed into the bike resulting in Suhaib sustaining serious head injuries and breathed his last on the spot. His new bike has also been damaged.

Hunsur Rural Police, who have registered a case, are investigating.
