Bilikere Hobli-level Sports Meet: Suttur JSS School bags Overall Championship

JSS Higher Primary School has bagged the Overall Championship in the Bilikere Hobli-level Sports Meet held at JSS School in Suttur recently with 50 boys and 50 girls of the School winning prizes in various events.

In boys category of team events, the school has won first prize in throwball, kho-kho and kabaddi tourneys while in girls category of team events, the School has bagged first prize in kho-kho, volleyball, kabaddi and throwball and has been selected to participate in the Taluk-level Sports Meet.


Boys: Ashoka Prabhu Gowda – first prize in 400 mts, 600 mts; Rahul Mehatho – first prize in discus-throw, shot-put and long-jump; Ashoka Prabhu Gowda and team – first prize in 4×100 mts relay; Rahul Mehatho bagged Individual Championship.

Girls: Ling Toi – first in 100 mts; Lekhana – first in 400 mts; Manini – second in 600 mts; Ebalisha – third in discus-throw and second in long-jump; Monika – first in shot-put; Ling Toi and team – first in 4×100 mts relay.
