Birthday celebrations of Jain Munis in city from today

Mysuru:  The 128th birthday of Puj Marudhar Kesari Misrimalji and 94th birthday of Puj Roop Muniji will be celebrated at Sri Sthankvasi Jain Bhawan in Halladkeri  by Sri Sthanakwasi Jain Sangh under the guidance of Puj Samkitmuniji and Puj Shruthmuniji for three days from today (Aug. 24 to 26).

Pravachn with jaap will be held today and Samuhik fasting will be observed on Saturday,

On Sunday, Annadana coordinated by Sri Sthankvasi Jain Yuva Sanghtan for around 1,000 people will be arranged at Roti Bank venue near Sangam Theatre in city.

A massive Gunanuwad Sabha will commence from 2 pm and conclude by 4.30 pm. Also dinner will be arranged before sunset for all attending Gunnauwad Sabha.

Sri Marudhar Kesari Guru Seva Samiti will be coordinating the 3-day programme.
