Biscuit agency Manager commits suicide

Nanjangud: A person, working as a Manager at a biscuit agency, committed suicide by hanging self at the agency office on Broadway Road here yesterday.

The deceased is Sudheendrachar (62), a resident of 17th Cross in Nanjangud town.

He leaves behind his wife Sudha and son Prabhuranjan.

Sudheendrachar, who came to the agency office yesterday morning, closed the shutter of the agency and committed suicide. 

The staff of the agency, who came to the office, saw the rolling shutter closed and on opening it saw their Manager hanging.

According to the complaint lodged by the deceased’s son, his father was suffering from mental depression, which had forced his father to take the extreme step.

Nanjangud Town Sub-Inspector Ravikumar, visited the spot, conducted mahazar and shifted the body to the Taluk Hospital besides registering a case. The body was handed over to the family members after post-mortem.
