Mysuru: Members of BJP Women’s Wing of Chamaraja Constituency staged a protest near Mathru Mandali School in V.V. Puram here yesterday condemning the derogatory remark passed against the State by Lakshmi Hebbalkar, President, KPCC Women’s Wing.

Speaking on the occasion, City BJP President Dr. Manjunath alleged that Lakshmi Hebbalkar had openly supported the inclusion of Belagavi in Maharashtra which is highly objectionable. He pointed out that such statements would add fuel to the stir by MES in Belagavi. He regretted that the State Government was silent on the issue.
