Mysuru: Pratibha Puraskar – Talent Awards-2026 was organised by Bharatiya Jain Sanghatana (BJS), Mysuru Chapter on July 26 at the Green Heritage premises, where 80 meritorious students from the Jain community were felicitated. Students who scored more than 85% in 2026 examinations, along with newly qualified Chartered Accountants and talented karate students, were recognised with awards.
On this occasion, Dr. Madanlalji Chauhan, Founder of Karnataka Cardio Diagnostics Centre, who has been dedicated to providing healthcare services to Munis and Sadhvijis, members of the community and public, was honoured with BJS Seva Shiromani Lifetime Achievement Award.
Sushiladevi Ketankumarji Ganna presented silver medals to the awardees. The programme began with the collective recitation of Navkar Mahamantra.

BJS Mysuru Branch President Rajan Baghmar welcomed. Chief Secretary Deepak Bohra introduced the Class 10 students and the Chartered Accountants, while Secretary Rajendra Desarla and Vice President Nemichand Badola introduced Class 12 students. Women’s Wing Chairperson Sharmila Dhoka introduced B.Com. and B.B.A. students.
Immediate Past President Praveen Lunkad introduced Dr. Madanlalji Chauhan and Youth Wing President Kaushik Jain introduced Sushiladevi Ketankumarji Ganna.
Secretary Rajendra Desarla proposed the vote of thanks. The successful organisation of the event was made possible by Treasurer Manohar Sankhla, Women’s Wing Secretary Seema Bohra and Vice-President Amit Chauhan.
The event was attended in large numbers by office- bearers and members of the organisation, including Karnataka State Chief Secretary Prakash Gulecha, Regional President Sukhraj Vinayakiya, Past Presidents Prakash Shrishrimal and Vimal Pitaliya, Vice-President Kushal Palrecha, Secretaries Sunil Patwa and Navratanmal Pitaliya, Women’s Wing Vice-Chairperson Santosh Salecha, Joint Secretary Aneeta Gadiya, Anchal Desarla, Sangeeta Gulechha, Prakash Gandhi, Gautam Gandhi, Vikram Kavad, Anand Salecha, Mahavir Dhoka, Uttam Gulecha, Yashwant Mutha and Dharmchand Mutha.
