Srirangapatna: A Block Health Education Officer was killed when a car rammed into the scooter the Officer was riding near Kodishettypura village on Mysuru-Bengaluru Highway yesterday.
The deceased Officer is Manjula (40), a resident of Mandya.
Manjula was proceeding to Kodishettypura General Hospital on her scooter, when a car rammed into the scooter resulting in Manjula suffering from serious injuries. She breathed her last en route to hospital.
A case has been registered at Srirangapatna Rural Police Station in this regard.
