Blood donation camp by Mysore Amity Round Table and Ladies Circle

Mysore/Mysuru: Mysore Amity Round Table-156 (MART-156) and Mysore Amity Ladies Circle-108 ((MALC-108) conducted a blood donation camp in association with Lions Blood Centre Jeevadhara at Pyramid Timber here recently.

MART-156 had organised this blood donation camp to help the needy patients admitted in K.R. Hospital and other Government Hospitals.  In all, 145 volunteers donated blood.   Speaking on the occasion, Hussain Vagh, Chairman, MART-156,  said “We are glad to be organising camps like this as it helps people in need of blood. It is an attempt to give back to the society. Soon we will be holding similar camps in and around the city and we urge people to come forward and donate blood for a cause.”

Over the past 15 years, MART-156 has constructed 30 classrooms and 20 toilet blocks at Government-aided Schools. Medical treatments for patients and equipment / consumables to hospitals have been provided through various initiatives.
