Blood donation camp held

Mysore/Mysuru: A blood donation camp, organised by Sahara School for Children with Special Needs, in collaboration with the Minhaj Interfaith and Welfare Foundation, was held at the school premises in Udayagiri recently.

This initiative was aimed to address the urgent need for blood among underprivileged and needy individuals in the community. Volunteers from various backgrounds participated, demonstrating a strong sense of community and solidarity. A total of 38 units of blood was collected which will be distributed to local hospitals and medical centres to assist patients requiring transfusions, thereby potentially saving numerous lives.
