Nanjangud: Mystery shrouds over the death of a youth, whose body was found near Adakanahalli Industrial Area on Tuesday night. Police have suspected that the youth may have been murdered.

The deceased youth is Krishna (22), son of Siddegowda of Adakanahalli in the taluk. He had gone to celebrate New Year on Jan. 31 night but his body with wounds on it was found along with his bike.

Police have suspected that Krishna may have been killed and his body and bike dragged for about a kilometre to the spot.

Nanjangud Rural Sub-Inspector Satish visited the spot and conducted preliminary investigation. A case has been registered at Nanjangud Rural Police Station.
