Mysuru: The Kishkinda Moolika Bonsai Garden, located at Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Ashram in Mysuru, has secured a place in the Guinness World Records for housing the world’s largest collection of bonsais.

Established in 2006, the renowned garden has long attracted tourists and devotees nationwide and abroad.

The Ashram’s latest achievement adds to its list of unique records and reflects the vision of Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Swamiji, whose commitment to environmental conservation has resulted in this expansive collection.

As part of the Vanadurga Puja held from June 6 to 15, the garden showcased thousands of rare bonsais sourced from countries including Taiwan, England, and Japan. Currently, the collection stands at an impressive 10,836 bonsais.

In recognition of this remarkable feat, Guinness World Records representative Rishinath presented the official certificate to Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Swamiji during a special ceremony held at the Ashram’s Nada Mantapa on Saturday.
