Play to be staged on Oct. 1 and 2

Mysuru: ‘Gandhi Hatyeya Satya,’ the play authored and directed by former Rangayana Director Addanda C. Cariappa will be staged by Rangabhoomi Trust, Kodagu, at Kiru Rangamandira in Kalamandira premises on Oct. 1 and 2.

Meanwhile, the book ‘Gandhi Hatyeya Satya’ will be released tomorrow (Sept. 27) at BSS Vidyodaya in Krishnamurthypuram at 5 pm.

 Srirama Sene President Pramod Muthalik, Littérateur Dr. S.R. Leela, BSS Vidyodaya Hon. Secretary R. Vasudev Bhat, Aditya Adhikari Hospital Administrative Officer Dr. Chandrashekar, Chitpavana Sangha President Dinesh Chipulanakar and Hari Vidyalaya Secretary H.R. Bhagavan will be present on the occasion.

Speaking to media persons recently, Addanda Cariappa said that he had authored the book in order to strengthen the Hindu organisations.

The play also throws light on the false narratives about India attaining freedom only through ‘Charaka.’ Members of the Brahmin, Vokkaliga, Veerashaiva among other communities must watch the play, urged Cariappa.  The play will be staged at Mini Theatre on Oct. 1 at 6.30 pm and there will be two shows on Oct. 2 at 11 am and 6.30 pm.
