However, I did not want to lower down the decorum of the PM’s office and eventually put down my papers,” the Vokkaliga strongman said.

Lauding late D. Devaraj Urs as one of the best Chief Ministers of the State, Gowda recalled an incident when Urs had retained an official in Hassan district at his insistence.

If that book lists 2 lines for each scam or loot by his family when he was in power , it will be bigger than the encyclopedia Britannica!
This goes to show the we have a democracy where anybody can vlaim anything and be made a hero ! Ajnnytime Laloo and Modi will have their biography book published.

  2. Krishna Murthy Chandar says:

I wish to congratulate Sri.Naganna and Prof.Pradhan Gurudutt the co-authors of the biography of Sri.Deve Gowda brought out by Prof.Rangappa. Prof.Gurudutt’s stint as Director of Kuvempu Bhasha Bharati was exceptional, particularly the translation of the 7 volume History of Western Civilizatioon by will and Ariel Durant.
It is said that the most challenging task in front of any aspiring writer is to ‘identify’his genre! Sri.Naganna is an aspiring poet having published three collections of poems. I am certain his poetic imagination came in handy while composing this work too.
I wish Sri.Naganna whom I have known for more than three dacades well and look forward to many more such works which will fetch him recognition and awards which he richly deserves!

  3. Prakash.R says:

Is this a fiction Novel? I always thought he deserves to be booked , not a book on him! If JdS wins, it may become a text book for some class!
This is democracy! For the. Right price they can write a book tyat Lalu is the reincarnation of God!
