Mysore/Mysuru: Marking the birth anniversary of renowned writer Poornachandra Tejaswi, members of Anikethana Seva Trust on Tuesday felicitated D.N. Lokappa of Samvahana Prakashana on his recent nomination as Kannada Book Selection Committee Member.

Speaking on the occasion, Trust President K.V. Mallesh said, Lokappa has published thousands of books written by senior and junior writers through his Samvahana Publishing House. 

Continuing he said Samvahana has published notable works of well-known authors like Rashtrakavi Dr. G.S. Shivarudrappa, Channaveera Kanavi, Dr. M. Chidananda Murthy, G.S. Siddalingaiah, K.C. Shivappa and Dr. B.V. Venkatachala Shastri. 

The books published by Lokappa’s Samvahana Prakashana have won numerous State-level awards, he added.

Writer Prof. Maleyuru Guruswamy, District Sharana Sahitya Parishat President M. Chandrashekhar, Vice-President of Veera Vanite Rani Chennamma Swayam Seva Sangha A.P. Virupaksha, artist Rangu Sandesh and others were present.
