Mysore/Mysuru: Daksha College of the Global Education Trust, Mysuru, in association with Aathmashree Kannada Cultural Foundation, Bengaluru, has organised a programme to release the book titled ‘India and the United Nations’ authored by P. Jayachandra Raju, Chairman of Daksha Group of Educational Institutions, Mysuru  and former UN Professional at its premises in Hootagalli Industrial Area here tomorrow (Mar. 18) at 3.15 pm.

Former MLC D.S. Veeraiah will inaugurate the programme. Retired Lokayukta Justice N. Santhosh Hegde will release the book while Bharat Scouts and Guides Karnataka Commissioner PGR Sindhia will deliver the presidential address. Vidyavardhaka Engineering College, Mysuru, Mechanical Department Assistant Professor Dr. S.A. Mohan Krishna will speak about the book. Founder of Shri Maayakaara Gurukula, Mysuru, Dr. Muguru Madhu Dikshit Guruji will grace the occasion. Writer, Film Director and Chairman of Asthmashree Kannada Cultural Foundation Dr. Gunavanta Manju will be present.

On the occasion, awards will be presented to Excise Department Deputy Commissioner Dr. Basavalingaiah Hiremath, Padma Shri Prof. Doddarange Gowda Cultural Academy Chairman Govindahalli Krishnegowda, Writer and Industrialist Dr. S. Akbar Pasha, Founder Chairman of Spandana Samskruthika Parishat T. Satish Javaregowda and Founder of Navabharati Naatyaalaya Academy Bharati Hegde for their exceptional works in their respective fields.
