Book release tomorrow

Karnataka Sahitya Academy Award-winning book ‘Bannadabadukinachinnadadinagalu’ based on the theatre experience of EnagiBalappa by Ganesh Amingad has been reprinted for the 8th time and the same will be released at a programme to be held at Kalamandira in city tomorrow (May 3) at 11 am under theaegis of AkhilaBharataVeerashaiva-LingayataMahasabha, Veerashaiva-Lingayata associations and organisations, BasavaBalagagalaOkkuta and the District Administration.

Suttur Seer Sri ShivarathriDeshikendraSwamiji will grace the occasion. The book was first printed in 2007 and has been translated to English and Marathi. Also, it has become the textbook for Karnataka State’s 7th standard, Belagavi’s KLE University and Rani Chennamma University, Mangaluru University and Maharashtra’s 9th standard students studying Kannada.The book will be available for sale at a discounted price at the event venue.
