Mysore/Mysuru: Dr. Pandit Puttaraja Seva Samiti, Gadag, has invited applications for the State-level Pt. Puttaraja Sahitya Puraskar.

Works of all genres of literature in Kannada, Hindi and Sanskrit languages published in the year 2024-25 are eligible.

While Kannada works will be considered for the award, the Samiti will honour the selected Hindi and Sanskrit works with Puttaraja Sahitya Samman. The State-level award carries a cash reward of Rs. 5,000, memento and citation.

The Samiti will also honour 10 select literary works with ‘Krithi Ratna Samman of the Year.’

The awards will be presented during Dr. Pt. Puttaraja Punyasmaranothsava to be held in Dandeli, according to a press release from Seva Samiti State Convenor, Sahitya Puraskar Selection Committee Member-Convenor and AIR & Doordarshan artiste Dr. Suma Hadapada Haliyala.
