Bouddha Dharma Deeskhe on Oct.14

October 13, 2022

Mahisha Mandala International Buddhist Cultural Trust Founder-President Shantharaju has said that more than 100 people from Dalit community will get Bouddha Dharma Deekshe on Oct.14  at  11 am in Byatahalli’s Buddha Vihar.

Addressing a press meet at Patrakartara Bhavan on Monday, he said “Though the practice of untouchability is a punishable offence under the Constitution, it is being practiced daily against dalits and many other atrocities are being committed on them. The practices of ancient Hindu religion are still continuing. Embracing Buddhism as shown by Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, is the only way to free dalits from the exploitation of the society. In this backdrop, hundreds of dalits from Mysuru will seek Bouddha Dharma Deekshe.”
