‘Mysuru Mane Habba,’ the two-day home festival organised by Brigade Group, was inaugurated by JSS Mahavidyapeetha Executive Secretary Dr. C.G. Betsurmath at Hotel Grand Mercure in city this morning.

The festival showcases various residential projects of Brigade Group being taken up in Mysuru, Bengaluru, Chikkamagaluru, Mangaluru, Hyderabad and Chennai. The organisers have also announced attractive offers such as zero percent interest rate for one year on homes starting at Rs. 64 lakh, free furnishing vouchers worth Rs. 1 lakh to Rs. 10 lakh and price protection to guarantee peace of mind in case of price drop.

Speaking to Star of Mysore, Brigade Group CEO (Residential) Om Ahuja said that Mysuru Mane Habba was an annual event which showcased residential projects taken up by the company at various parts of the State and the country.

Stating that Brigade Group had already taken up nine projects in city, Om said that two more projects were in the pipeline.

He expressed concern over the increase in the cost of construction owing to drastic increase in the prices of raw materials like iron and cement. “Events like this help customers to buy their dream home with additional offers. We still do not  know under what bracket Real Estate Industry would be added in GST. Once it is done, the prices of the houses will surely go up. The delay in buying houses will only make the customers pay more for the same in the days to come,” he added.

Brigade Group, Mysuru Branch, Head B.R. Suchendra was also present.

The home festival will be open to public from 10 am to 8 pm today and tomorrow.
