Brigadier (Retd.) Mukkatira Ashok Cariappa

Brigadier (Retd.) Mukkatira M. Ashok Cariappa (Para/Bihar),  passed away at his residence, No.  1006, Brigade Horizon Apartments on T. Narasipur Road, Siddarthanagar here at 5.30 am today. He was 82.

A native of Devanageri in Kodagu, he leaves behind his wife Chitra Cariappa, sons M.C. Ponnappa and M.C. Muthanna and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites will be held at the foot of Chamundi Hill tomorrow (Mar. 10) at 2.30 pm.
