This has reference to KBG’s Point Blank titled ‘An eyesore at Mysore Railway Station’ (Star of Mysore dated Nov.29).

One fails to understand whose brainchild it was to prompt the Railways all of a sudden and make them paint the serene and majestic looking white pillars with gaudy imprint, deforming and defacing them instantaneously.

As rightly suggested by you, without further ado, can we ask the Railway authorities to undo the damage and restore the originality of the heritage structure as soon as possible? For sure, the travellers will enjoy the grand building more if the Railways also remove the small hoardings of VIVO.
