Bring this road in Yadavagiri back to its original shape

December 29, 2023

Sir,

The pipe-laying works funded by the Central Government have been completed at Yadavagiri. However, there are concerns  regarding the road from the traffic signal lights to the start of Paramahamsa Road.

Only half of the road has been tarred, and the other half is riddled with potholes and stones protruding from the surface, likely caused by the movement of heavy machinery during the construction process.

It is regrettable that the entire stretch was not fully addressed, leaving it in an incomplete state. Specifically, a section of the 1st Main Paramahamsa Road needs urgent attention.

The unfinished road generates a significant amount of dust and even has the potential to damage vehicles, especially cars.

Given that this road serves as a vital link between Bannimantap and Vontikoppal, the excessive dust poses a health risk.

The situation has persisted for over 8 months, forcing some residents to vacate their homes due to constant noise and dust. There were instances when entry into homes became challenging. While residents understand the necessity for infrastructure development, the prolonged inconvenience has taken a toll on their daily lives.

Additionally, the Church Road is currently blocked for traffic. Urgent attention is needed to address these issues, including the completion of road construction.
