BSNL Forum to take out rally

Seeking fulfilment of their various demands, the Forum of BSNL Unions and Associations will take out a rally in the city tomorrow (Mar. 9), as part of a national campaign to save BSNL. The rally will be flagged off by senior journalist Rajashekar Koti at BSNL CTO Office premises in the morning. It will pass through the main thoroughfares of the city before reaching the DC’s Office, where a memorandum will be presented. The demands include a halt to BSNL disinvestment plans, dropping of a proposal to set up Subsidiary Tower Company (STC) within BSNL, free allocation of 4G spectrum to BSNL and an end to facilitates extended by the Centre to Reliance Jio among others.
