BSNL strike: Phones dead

February 19, 2019

Mysuru: With the ongoing strike by Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) employees entering the second day today, BSNL services — landline, mobile and internet — were hit inconveniencing the customers.

Customers told Star of Mysore that no one at the BSNL Customer Care Centres was receiving a call leaving them in the lurch.

Many aggrieved customers were seen thronging the BSNL General Manager’s Office in Jayalakshmipuram here but were left disappointed on seeing no responsible staff or officer there but for a few of the top brass who could not be approached. The three-day strike in support of their various demands will end tomorrow.
