Buddha Jayanti celebrations

The District Administration, Kannada and Culture Department, Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) and Bhagawan Buddha Jayantotsava Samiti have jointly organised Bhagawan Buddha Jayanti celebrations at Kalamandira on Hunsur Road in city tomorrow (May 1) at 10 am. Dr. Kalyanasiri Bhanteji of Vishwa Mythri Buddha Vihar will grace the occasion. District Minister Dr. H.C. Mahadevappa will inaugurate. MLA K. Harishgowda will preside. B. Gopal of Praja Parivarthana Vedike will deliver a lecture on the occasion.

Prior to the stage programme, a procession will be taken out from Town Hall to Kalamandira, starting at 8.30 am, according to a press release.
