Mysore/Mysuru: Builders’ Association of India (BAI)-Mysore Centre and Mysore Builders Charitable Trust (MBCT) had jointly organised a programme to felicitate toppers in Civil Engineering and Construction Technology & Management (CTM) from various Engineering Colleges in and around Mysuru on Oct. 22 at MBCT auditorium in city.

The programme commenced with the invocation by M.R. Rachana, a Civil Engineering student of Maharaja Institute of Technology (MIT). K. Ajit Narayan, Chairman, BAI-Mysore, gave a brief report about the activities of BAI and welcomed the gathering. S.K. Prasad, HOD, Civil Engineering, Vidyavardhaka Engineering College, Mysuru, was the chief guest. T.N. Hemanth, Managing Trustee of MBCT, was the guest of honour.

Sixteen toppers from eight Engineering Colleges were honoured for being first and second toppers respectively from their colleges. They are as follows:

Niveditha – 9.26; Vidyavardhaka College of Engineering (VVCE): S. Sushmitha – 9.51; H.R. Chirag – 9.3; Vidya Vikas Institute of Engineering and Technology (VVIET): A. Vikshith – 9.43; B.R. Mahadeva – 9.25; Maharaja Institute of Technology (MIT): Chaya R. Rampure – 9.379; N.M. Chandana – 9.253; ATME: H.T. Nagarathna – 9.20; N. Megha – 8.87; Mysore College of Engineering & Management (MyCEM): J.K. Pavithra – 9.128;  P. Veena – 9.114.

The chief guest felicitated all the students with citation and mementoes. A.S. Yoganarasimha, Hon. Secretary, BAI-Mysore, proposed a vote of thanks and appreciated the effort of the co-ordinators.
