Burglar arrested in city

Mysuru: City Police have arrested a person allegedly involved in burglary reported in Naguvanahalli in Srirangapatna here yesterday.

According to Police, the person was intercepted by Kuvempunagar Police while he was moving around suspiciously on a two-wheeler near Srirampura check-post and 516 gram gold ornaments, 26 gram silver articles and a two-wheeler, worth Rs. 36.22 lakh, were recovered.

During interrogation, the person is said to have confessed of being involved in a burglary reported at a house in Naguvanahalli on Nov. 10. Kuvempunagar Police have registered a case and are in search for the other accused involved in the case.
