Burglars decamp with cash, gold ornaments from Yadavagiri house

Mysuru: Burglars, who broke into a house by breaking the rear door of the house in Yadavagiri 2nd Main Road here yesterday, have decamped with Rs. 3 lakh cash and gold ornaments weighing about 50 grams.

The burglary took place in the house of one S. Vasanth Ramalinga, a retired employee of J.K. Tyres, who was running a utensils shop in Saraswathipuram.

Vasanth locked his house and left for his shop yesterday morning. When he returned home at about 6.30 pm and entered into the house, he found the rear door broken and on examining the house, he found the cash and gold ornaments kept inside the almirah missing and lodged a complaint.

V.V. Puram Police, who have registered a case in this regard, are investigating.
