Burglars decamp with gold ornaments from locked flat

Mysuru: Burglars, who broke into a locked flat at an apartment near Kalamandira here, have decamped with gold ornaments from the flat.

The theft took place at Flat No.22 in G-Block, belonging to one Harish, who had locked the flat on Nov.30 and had gone out of station along with his family.

Harish, who came to know about the theft when his neighbours informed him over the phone, rushed to Mysuru on Dec.4.

On inspecting the flat, he found earrings, finger ring and other gold ornaments kept in the flat missing and lodged a complaint with Devaraja Police in this regard. Devaraja Police, who have registered a case, are investigating.
