Burglars decamp with gold jewellery from locked house

Mysore/Mysuru: Burglars, who broke into a locked house at C.N. Manjegowda Layout at Rammanahalli in the taluk, have decamped with gold jewellery from the house.

The theft took place on May 28 in the house of G.R. Umesh and Ramya couple. Umesh, works as a manager at a company in Dattagalli and Ramya is a teacher at a private school in Rammanahalli.

On May 28 morning, they both left for work after locking the house in the morning and at about 3.15 pm, they received a call from their neighbour, who informed that the door of their house was found broken, following which Umesh and Ramya rushed to their house.

On inspecting the house, they found that the iron safety door and the wooden door forcibly opened and 85 grams gold ornaments stolen and lodged a complaint.

Mysuru South Police, who have registered a case, are investigating.
