Bus runs over scooter rider

Mysore/Mysuru: A scooter rider was killed when a city bus ran over him on Shivaji Road in N.R.Mohalla on Friday.

The deceased has been identified as Shabbir  Ahmed Khan (54), a resident of N.R. Mohalla in the city. Shabbir Ahmed Khan was travelling on his Honda Activa on Shivaji Road at about 4.30 pm when a city bus knocked him down from behind and ran over him.

A seriously injured Shabbir was rushed to K.R.Hospital, where the doctors declared him brought dead. N.R. Traffic Police have registered a case in this regard.
