Busy Male Mahadeshwara Road crying for repair

March 11, 2022

Sir,

The Male Mahadeshwara Road, from Nazarbad Police Station to Dairy Circle, is crying for repair since more than a              year but nothing seems to happen in this high-traffic road.  The same can be said about many city roads.

Is this the pace of work for road repair? Right from calling for tenders to completion of work, if it takes 6 – 12 months, isn’t the system flawed and outdated?

In this 21st century and age of advanced technologies and businesses, are we still stuck in age-old procedures or is it the authorities’ laxity in getting things done?

Whatever the reasons be,  it is the general public who are at loss. Hope we find a solution for this problem soon.
