Busy traffic on Bogadi 2nd Stage road worries pedestrians

February 27, 2023

Sir,

The Bogadi road that goes straight from the bridge is always busy with traffic — what with school buses, two-wheelers and four-wheelers.

There is no end to the non-stop movement of vehicles. How to cross the road? Well, it is a nightmare. After a few accidents, the Police have installed barricades. I thought senior citizens like me and small kids can cross the road without fear. But to my utter dismay, I find it has become bad to worse.  People are in a tearing hurry to pass through. They don’t even slow down near the barricades. Why do they have to go in such a hurry? Hope the Traffic Cops will please do something about it.
