Bylakuppe Sera Je School contributes towards PM and CM Relief Funds

Bylakuppe: As a gesture of their goodwill and support in solidarity with the Government and the people of the nation in the fight against the Coronavirus and in line with the deep concern and solidarity expressed by His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama towards those suffering due to this pandemic, the Sera Je School administration has made the following contributions:

1. Rs. 1,50,000 towards the Prime Minister’s Citizen Assistance and Relief in Emergency Situations (PM CARES) Fund.

2. Rs.1,00,000 towards the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund of Karnataka State. 3. Distribution of dry food items to 300 poor and needy local Indian families and 40 poor and needy Tibetan families. 4. One day salary of all teaching and non-teaching staff of Sera Je Secondary School to  PM CARES Fund.
