C. Shivarudraiah (90), a resident of Premier Metro Apartment in Jayalakshmipuram, passed away here recently. He had also served as Vice-President of Shaagle Shivarudramma Trust.

A native of Keralapura in Arakalgud taluk of Hassan district, Shivarudraiah leaves behind his wife, three brothers and a host of relatives and friends.

After serving as a Geology Professor, he retired as the Principal of D. Devaraj Urs First Grade College at Hunsur.

He later founded Punyabhoomi Vidyasamsthe with his friends and set up High Schools at Hunsur and Tattekere, according to family sources.
