C. Venkataswamy Naidu (94), a retired officer of Public Works Department and Chairman of Bengaluru’s VK Convention Hall, passed away yesterday at his residence in Jayanagar, Bengaluru.

He leaves behind his sons V.K. Jagadish Babu (Chairman and Managing Director of Sankalp Group) and Dr. V.K. Srinivas (Bengaluru’s Vydehi Superspeciality Hospital Director & Cardiology Head), two daughters and a host of relatives and friends.

Last rites were held in Bengaluru yesterday.
