Cables posing risk to pedestrians

February 23, 2019

Sir,

CHESCom seems to have taken up some upgradation work in the city for which cables are being laid across most areas. Unfortunately, these cables have been left lying around in large bundles in most areas, like huge snakes lying about, posing serious risk of injury to pedestrians. Most sidewalks have been dug up for this, with heaps of interlocking bricks and mud lying about, making these sidewalks unusable and dangerous. Request CHESCom  to speed up the work and make sure they reinstate the sidewalks to ensure safety of pedestrians.
