Cairo ITF Men’s Tennis Tourney: City’s Prajwal Dev goes down in first round

Mysuru lad S.D. Prajwal Dev representing India and taking part in the 15,000$ ITF men’s tennis tournament at Cairo, Egypt, went down in the men’s singles first round on Thursday. Ukraine’s Yurii Dzharakian beat S.D. Prajwal Dev 6-2, 6-3 in the men’s singles first round to move ahead. In the men’s doubles first round, Duje Kekez (Cro) & Gergely Madarasz (Hungary) beat S.D. Prajwal Dev & Natahn Seateun (France) 6-0, 6-2 to enter the quarter-finals.
