The Department of Information and Public Relations has invited applications from art troupes to present folk songs and street plays to create awareness on Government Schemes in the district limits. Three street play troupes and 3 folk music troupes will be selected from the district. Each street play troupe must have 6 artistes including 2 woman artistes and one artiste belonging to SC or ST community. Each folk music troupe must have 3 artistes including 1 woman artiste and one artiste belonging to SC or ST community.

The troupes must contain only Mysuru district artistes and must compulsorily submit Aadhaar card. Interested may submit applications along with relevant documents to the Deputy Director, Department of Information and Public Relations, Dhanvantri Road, Mysuru -570001.  Last date to apply is Oct. 15.
